Anyone cut out the front camaro panel to expose their intercoolers? Show me the pics! I'm thinking about saving up for a used turbo tech kit or similar.

I didn't cut out the "CAMARO" panel, but that's where i've got my intercooler if you want pics of that as well.

Wouldn't not cutting the front panel defeat the purpouse of having an FMIC? It wouldn't get airflow. Sure show me the pics.

If you cut out the styrofoam on both sides it gets pretty good air-flow, actually.

We're going to see how things go this summer with the warm weather... if i need more air going to the intercooler, we made a template for the cut already.

Also, the other reason for not cutting was to keep things somewhat low key... i don't want my car to scream that there's an intercooler behind the billet grille.

Any idea on the measurements on that intercooler, stoleit?!
BTW, mine up there is 24x12x3 w/ 2.5" inlets

its a standard slp grill just cut out.
