I got the 1LE suspension package on my '02 Hawk. The gap up front seems to be about the height I want it but the back seems to be a bit 4x4ish. I don't want to slam the car...maybe just 1" or 1.5" max in the back but I was wondering if anyone knew if the 1LE has different springs than the stock suspension?

What springs can I get for the back that will improve handling and just lower it a bit? Do I have to get relocation brackets no matter how much I lower the back?

I'll post a pic of her when I get home so you can just for yourself how much it could go down. Thanks!!!

Yes the 1LE suspension has springs that are different than that of stock T/A, WS6, etc The springs do lower the car maybe around 1/2" or so. You also have different shocks as well Bilsteins I believe.

1" lowering springs would be like BMR's, Hotchkis, or if your really serious and have the money Ground Control Coil overs where you can adjust the height yourself to your liking.

Any more drop like 1"+ your looking at the G2's, Eibach Pro Kit and the drag springs.

Cool, thanks...

Also, the 1LE package puts Adjustable Koni's at the 4 corners.

If you want to drop just the back, you can just take out the rubber spacers at the top of the springs. Slide some heater hose or garden hose onto the spring to keep it quiet. Slap the spring back in there and you're done. May want to search for how much this drops the car, but I seem to remember someone saying 0.5" - 1.0". Not bad for $5 or so.
