I like Alpine. I have an older model headunit. It's the Alpine 7965. :cool: It's been problem free for as long as I've had it and I'm the second owner.

I just installed an Alpine CDA-9815 in my Z today. I had an older model that is a 97 model and it is still working just fine. Great HU's, they usually don't BS with anything and try and hype their products with small LCD's that play cheesy vids or anything. No offense to those might have a HU that does that. I'm all about the quality and sound...........

I put a 7897 in my car a few months ago. It fugg'n rox!! Alpine rox! Check out their new stuff. The satellite reciever is built into the HU.

I have had 4 Alpine head units. I have never had one go bad. In my beater I am using a OLD (1996) model unit and she is still ticking away.

I'm not really into the stereo thing but I want something that sounds good. I've had my current Alpine for years. It's a really old one but sounds better than 99% of the non Alpine hu's that I've ever heard. I've been using Alpine hu's for over 13 years now and have never had a problem with one. I can't say the same for various other brands I've had.
