The problem with the one piece Tee above is that you have no control over the direction the 1/8" outlet points once it is torqued up. The side outlet could end up pointing directly at the rear of your intake manifold. The only way to adjust that is to fiddle with sealing washer thicknesses on the male end.
I got a bunch of these swivel adapters made up. The main bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel. Seals are 16mm metric.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y20/PerthPurplePenguin/car%20parts/oil%20sender%20tee/R1010752.jpg
The 1/8" NPT outlet can be positioned anywhere in a full 360 deg, then the main bolt gets torqued and the desired position is held.

Hi HSV GTS 300,
it is very timely that you posted. I have been looking for the best option to fit a sender to the L76 in my Cobra. Your swivel fitting is the tidiest option I have seen.
When you say you had a bunch of them made up does that mean they are for sale somewhere?
If so, can we do business please.
Thanks,
Gary

I've got one fitted to an L76 stroker in a G8-GT near Seattle and another fitted to a new 6.0 LS2 in an offroad buggy in CO. So long as you have room with the Cobra to raise your current GM Oil Pressure Sender 44mm it will work fine.
Seals are 16mm copper OEM quality Elring brand I imported from Germany.
I'll PM you shortly.

Sir, I came upon this via a Google search for an LS oil pressure sender adapter. I must say... It is a brilliant solution to a common problem! I'm installing gauges in a few weeks in my '06 GTO, and I would like to run a braided line to remote mount the sender, and this would be perfect.
Please tell me that there is at least 1 more to purchase!
Thanks!

Hi Adam,
Sounds like a great project you have going.
Yes I have plenty of the swivels remaining.
The Fbody OFAC is no longer available new from GM. The Part number supercedes to the GTO cap 12577903 which will be the same as you already have on your VZ. (I've now edited the initial post above).

I like this setup, but I need the 1/8" hole to be 1" up from the top of the pedistal on the valley cover. How could I do this & where can I get these parts?
Thanks

There's a nice simple way to do it with 2 off the shelf hydraulic fittings, provided you can mark, drill, and tap the 1/8" port yourself. It wont have a swivel function so you'll have to assemble and test fit to mark the side outlet in the correct orientation away from your manifold.
I just trialled the bits here and the shortest height I could get was 1.125" from top of pedestal to hole centre...adjustable upwards to 1.75"

On second thought it is possible to get the 1" height and retain the swivel function.

Where can I get those parts? Just normal hydraulic parts store?

I think you'll find it difficult in USA as I found problems getting everything here in a metric country. The banjo connector needs modifying to incorporate the 1/8NPT thread internally & the metric seals I had to import from Germany.
I'll send you an e-mail.

Got your email, & thanks for offering to get them to me. Autometer makes an adapter from the metric to 1/8" pipe threads for around $10. I think I'll go that route & get a "T" for it.
Thanks
