did you make that yourself? got any details? ;) i've been debating take out hte rear seats (keep htem folded down all the time anyway) and making a custom enclosure similar to what you have now that i could use for storage or whatever. figured it wouldn't be too bad - make some carboard templates to figure out the size and shape, cut out some wood and wrap some carpet around it.

I'm gonna send you a PM about this...I can't get the pics to work for me, but I've been looking to do this. I already have the rear seats/seat belts out, and just need the time and a template to make something.

I like it. I did one side so I could have a dvd, vcr and playstation inclosed behind my seat in my 94.

Finally got the pics to work...dude, that is bad ass. That is EXACTLY what I'm looking to do...you have to hook me up with some idea of how you did it as far as making a template, where you found the carpet, etc. I really want to fill in that empty space, and still have a way to store stuff underneath it.

I say leave it or angle it so that the back of the encosure is at the same height as the rear deck then slopes forward at around a 45.

Yeah, I agree with this. I think what Shamrock proposed would look better than the option above.

the original intent of this design was to be able to transport a full size spare on long trips. guess i'll leave it as is. thanks for the input guys! :D

Similar to that, except not have the back of the enclosure come forward before sloping down, just have it slope down fromt he very back of it. This is hard to just describe, but have the back of the enclosure start at the rear deck, then angle down to where the bottom of it would be in about the same location as the bottom of the enclosure you posted in those pics. It would be a single flat piece, so that between it, the floor of the car, and the back of the of where the seat were basically form a triangle.
