I know how you feel man...I don't get a chance to go WOT all the time, and one day last week, I just ripped on it coming out of my base. I was in first gear, so I got a pretty nice surprise. Funny thing is, I never remembered it being able to pull me back like that in the seat...guess I need to beat on it a little more often :yup:

I think the cars are fine stock, but I wanted more. I took a ride in Constrictors TA and decided to go for heads/cam/LS6/LT headers.
I am almost done, and hopefully I will be well over the 400RWHP mark.
That is the great thing about the LS1. No power adder needed.

All mine has is a catback, lid, and FRA and the power still surprises me occassionally!

I just installed headers and a new catback over the weekend, and let me tell ya, the difference is mind-boggling!

The car gets sideways so much easier now, and it's getting to the point of being scary fast. Now all I gotta do is install my cam and I'm set. ;)

Funny thing is that we tend to get use to our car really fast. I have H/C and i thought my car was o.k. then i added 4.10's and it feels fast for the moment lol. I'm sure i'm not the only one who gets like this.

sorry Hooper...I wasn't ignoring your question

I actually have zero engine mods...it's under extended warranty til it hits about 66,000 miles

I have sfc's, stb's, flowmaster exhaust (which was from the previous owner) steel braided brake lines, ss-type hood.

but I thought by now I'd be used to the power...no way :D

I must be odd or something because after I get a new mod I get used to it after a couple of weeks and it seems slow to me.

Well, I was raised on four-bangers all my life.

Plymouth Volare, Toyota Camrys, entry-level Buicks, etc...

So when I drive the 'z, it's always a blast! :)
