Rhys Millen was drifting the GTO in the drift competition here in Houston June 12th.
It was an amazing machine...

Everyone went running to the practice area where the GTO was doing doughnuts... incredible... none of the other cars garnered that much attention... people were actually screaming "GO GOAT"...
In the competition there was some amazing runs by all the drivers and there even was an El Camino and a Bob Durant sponsored Crown Vitoria...
The competition kept going on and in the semi-final the GTO went up against the champion Viper but lost. The Viper went on to beat Ken Gushi (a 17 year old) when his car blew something and the Viper won by default.
It was an amazing night with the free-show burning so much rubber it smelt like a rubber processing plant.. sweet burnt rubber.. :D
Next time I think I'll get the bleacher seats to get a better view...
