LS2 swap into 65impala (HELP!)

Just like the subject says im wanting to put a LS2 out of a wrecked C6 into my 65impala. I want to know what to expect of this. The doner is out of a 06 C6 w/auto trans and 20k miles.
The good thing is that i have pretty much everything but from here I'd like to know how hard this is going to be before i get into it.

RIGHT ON! thanks for that. What about the corvette trans do you think i'd have problems using that?

Sorry I really don't know.

Couple things to watch out for that I do know about.
Not all LS2's are created equal.

There are different crank and cam reluctor versions ....this affects the Computer that can be used for that engine. Read the section of that article which mentions checking the crank sensor colour.

Also if you get an 06 Corvette LS2 (58x,4x) then make sure all the front accessories you use are the Corvette version.

When getting the donor engine and transmission,
get the MASS AIR FLOW, COMPUTER,
TAC MODULE, GAS PEDAL, OXYGEN
SENSORS.

okay so Im on my way with the swap and at the moment Im looking for a shorty header in stainless that will fit in this swap anyone have any good ideas?
