Ok, i have seached many different forums, and haven't found this specific info yet.
I know about the 3 different Lt-1 intakes,
92-93 (no fuel balance tube)
94-95 (fuel balance tube)
96-97 (fuel balance tube)
I also know that the ports were changed slightly between the last two designs. But, were the ports changed between the 93 and 94 designs? I currently have a 94 intake on 93 heads, and was wondering if i am killing some power with mis-matched ports.
Are the ports on the heads changed at all between years?
Which years flow the best over-all? I was told the 93s did b/c the fuel balance tube's indention isn't there to restrict the incoming air. True?

As far as I know the intakes were the same except for the fuel tube cross over.

I never really looked to see if that crossover protrudes into the intake area.

But I don't think it does as its a very small indentation and there appears to be sufficient material to allow it not to interfere.

The actual head to intake location should be the same through the years on an LT1. As for the relief for the cross over tube it's not an issue. I don't even touch it when I port an intake since it's so high up in plenum.

Well from 92-95 the intakes were rectangular. In 96-97 they were more polygram shaped. This includes the LT4 intake. I no longer have any unported intakes to takes pics.

Oddly enough in 95(My car jan 95) the heads were polygram shaped and the intake was not.

That got to where I am now. I can not see paying $220 for an LT4 intake when I can convert a LT1 intake and modify it for better flow for under $100 ;)
