And what do you guys think about it. I just picked one up and will give it a try soon. Hope its better than a chamois.

Two words, one concept: leaf blower. The drawbacks:
1. The neighbors will look at you funny
2. See above statement
3. Yep, the neighbors will look at you funny
The benefits:
1. Easiest way to dry your car
2. You blow any and all dust off as you dry
3. You get all the water out of the cracks (you know, like the tail lights, mirrors, grille, etc.)
What water you can't dry with a blower, you can easily wipe up with your favorite kind of towel. I use a microfiber because it doesn't scratch and it absorbs like a mother.
absorber works but on black it leaves little spots

I use a swimmers chamois. Its easier to work with than the absorber because its smaller, and it holds more water. You can find them at any local swim wear store.:D

I use the absorber, works great for me.
I would use a leaf blower, but I don't want the neighbors to think I've lost my mind. :o

Dude, you have no idea. I live in an apartment complex with no garage, so to use my leaf blower, I run a 100' extension cord out my door and over the railing down into the parking lot. Needless to say, everyone thinks I'm nuts...then again, no one really parks close to me anymore.

I have had my Absorber for a LONG time (about 10 years). I have used friends newer ones and they don't seem to work as good when they are new. If you have one & were not impressed with the results, wash it several times & give it another shot. I will never use anything else for drying!

I've had it for about 6 months and its worked awesome since day 1. Much better than any chamois I've ever used.

Maybe... I used mine once then never again.
I'm lazy now... My drying method consists of doing 80 mph for around 5 minutes.:D

I cut the Absober in half, makes it a lot easier to use. My car is black and it works for me.
I always use a a detailer spray to finish it off.

If it is a little cool and/or damp outside, you will never get your car dry with The Absorber.
It seems to just move water around and streak it more than anything. Sometimes it works well though.

I have the generic absorber from Walmart. AquaDry or whatever.
Worked pretty well. But now the MrCleanAutodry works even better. :D

I've had it for about half of the previous year and like it. Guys using leaf blowers, wouldn't you go deaf. The one we have has a high pitched squeal when you use it. VERY DEAFENING!!

I have one but like other say, it kinda sucks with a black car. It just streaks the water around and you have to keep wringing it out if you don't want it to do that.
