Bought converter this summer with free trans cooler. Converter came without cooler emailed call many time over a few months. Finally after posting on forum he gave me a credit by paypal. Went to put converter in tranny would not fit. John ask me to send pics. He then said he sent wrong converter it was for a Grand National. I sent it back he sent a new one. later I got a Fedex charge of $50.00 call John two weeks ago and said he would credit it back still waiting. Finally got car running and heard a clanging noise from back in park and idling. Pulled tranny out and found that the converter mounding ears is grinding into torque tube bell housing because he uses a universal mounting pad for different applications which are to big. Called and emailed pics to John many times with no return calls or emails. Who is going to pay for time of re&re and damage to torque tube? The only smoke and mirrors is John and his company.

Robert,

After spending yesterday reviewing the pictures you sent on Tuesday of this week, we can only determine that your setup is somehow causing the problem in space. This is a common build of which we have have no other problems with fitting. Your setup should be looked at to determine what the problem is. We have responded to your email saying this. As to the money, under our warranty, shipping is paid for by the customer. Additionally, we went our of our way in September and paid you $81.32 for shipping. We consider all shipping costs paid for at this point. You have left no phone message for us and responding to your email from Tuesday today seems like a perfectly reasonable time frame to us.

How is it warranty/goodwill if you made a mistake sending wrong converter for 200r4 G body instead of a C5 corvette 4L60E. Also my driveshaft torque tube and bell housing is one piece factory with stock converter plate, tranny and torque tube can only bolt away. Have you ever installed one? My mechanics only works on corvette C5/C6 and F bodies exclusively. If you need references let me know.
