Looks like you can buy the windows off of ebay for about 200 bucks. Has anyone ever attempted this?

What are you talkin aboot - the glass or the motors? I think I'm nearing that point with the driver power window, it takes about 30 seconds to wind up, bah :rolleyes:

im guessin you mean teh whole window. motors are like 50 bucks...but why would you need to replace the whole thing?

I would guess that what the airmanb2b was speaking of was that back window! If that is what you were asking about, and you have a 4th gen, this is not a project that you want to try one your own!! There is a lot of cutting and sewing involved and when I asked a guy that I know at an upholstery shop, he said that you could spend an extra $200 and get a whole new top put on for what he would charge to do just the back window! This is quite a labor intensive deal and that's why it costs so much to have done.:(
