Depending on mileage I'd start at the basics. Have you changed the fuel filter? Plugs and wires all tight and in good shape?

spark plugs and wires are maybe 4 or 5 k miles old. just changed the fuel filter 3 days ago. any ideas? and what do u mean milage, do you mean what gas milage i get, or milage on the car or aftermarket parts or waht? thanks.

Sounds like a missfire due to spark.. 4th gear, part throttle places a significant load causing the resistance across the spark plug electrodes to be greatest.. This is when electricity (spark) finds the path to least resistance and if you have a problem (cracked plug, cut/burnt wire) this is when you'll notice it.

If you have EFILive or EASE or whatever, log misfire data and determine which cylinder is misfire-ing (sp). You can also get a spray bottle of some salty water and spray around the coil/wire/plug area and see if you can create the condition..

Then again.. it may not be a miss at all.. :p
Good Luck.

thanks for your input. im not sure exactly if its missing cause i have the cam in it, so its hard to tell. also, my tuner said he turned off the misfire codes on idle cause it will always read that it is missing, so i dont know if it applies to part throttle. it also happens in second gear i noticed as well. ill see if he can autotap it for me today while we are driving and hopefully can figure out the problem and what to do. Thanks again.

Even if you tuner disabled the misfire codes, the PCM still monitors and tracks it.. You can still log misfire data. You just wont set the MIL..

i guess at low rpm, it just the way the cam acts according to my tuner. :dunno:
