is that a stock bottom end? i just had my dipstick push up last nite, first time it did it but i know what it could possible mean and i am scared.....

but i have no check valve in the PVC system and I am hoping it was just a rare case like that..... cause i have run the car hard before just this once i pulled the car in and seen some smoke and smell of oil burning, popped the hood and seen the dipstick up about an inch.

Yes it is the stock bottom end. The stock bottom end holds up just fine unless you start pushing some crazy boost, or you don't have the air/fuel at 12:1. Bob :)

yeah, tonite i gave another good couple of runs, dipstick didn't go anywhere, i don't know why it did it but i had me scared, i have my a/f set at 11.4, i know it is really rich but i am playing it safe..:rolleyes:

yep stayed in, and i pressure washed all the oil off the side of the block and oil pan, no more stinky oil smell after i turn the car off. just a false alarm i think/hope

oh one other quick thing, have you guys ever hooked a vaccum pump up to help w/ the crank case pressure? I have a electric vaccum pump i am planning on hooking up and wiring it to a pressure switch like the boost a pump so when i start making boost it turns on and helps seat the rings better...
