Looking at a 04 vert

My wife and I are looking at a new red 04 vert. Price isn't too bad, already priced ins, etc. I would rather get a coupe but my wife wants the vert. Salewoman said verts resale better than coupes :help: They have a limited Z06 on the floor for $4000 more but no rebate on it so add another $3000. Just looking at what the vette crowd thinks. :D

Don't know what they're smoking about the Z06 and no rebate. I bought a 2004 silver z06 last week for $42,300 + tax. The sticker price is $53,300 and it was brand new. They gave me the $3000 rebate AND a ton of money off sticker as you can see. All vettes are going for $11k off sticker right now after rebate, because they're making room for the new C6's. Don't accept a high price! You can definitely find a z06 for under $44k easy!

Edit: just re-read your post, did you mean a commemorative edition Z06? You can still probably get that way off sticker if you find the right dealer but those are a ripoff IMO...$6000 extra for stickers is not my idea of a great deal. And I don't think the commemorative edition 04's are going to hold their value any better than the regular editions as theres nothing special in them other than stickers.

Remember, the Z16 has limited production numbers, and a Carbon Fiber hood.

That being said.... I bought a coupe and love it.

We ended up getting the vert. Got about 10.5K off sticker. We are happy with the deal we got. :D
