they should sell some in the states .. even if they dont think it will sell well , they might be surprised , if it comes in at $25k ?

but think about the combination-
6ltr , l92 heads , l76 manifold, add a 224/230 .580" 112 cam in there with the 6 speed man or auto would be fun.

450rwhp from a cam swap and a mean lope at idle.

I bet it would sell pretty good if it came in at a good price. They are probably afraid after the SSR, but this would be a better all around car, and functional too. Hell, I'd buy one if I didn't have to worry about a back seat.

If its CAFE rated as a truck, they'll sell a million in Cali alone. You should see how many El Caminos are still rolling around out there.

I'd like to see it come here. I don't know if I'd buy one but I'd still like to have the choice.

all that power & no weight over the rear tires for traction. not to mention the fact that it's uglier than a sack full of assholes.

It's not that bad... so long as you're a bit careful when it's pissing with rain.

independant rear suspension means its not like a live rear axle with no weight in the rear , the car squats and the weight transfers to the rear anyway.

im willing to bet it handles exactly like its sedan counterpart .. which includes .87g on the skid pan, which is in bmw 335i territory.
