Positives: Cheap
Didn't have to remove anything else but heat shields on the drivers side.

Negatives:

You need to do some grinding on the flanges to prevent leaks (slag), you will have to grind your k-member on the drivers side to get them to fit.

Y-pipe bangs like a 3 dollar whore not due to the y-pipe but due to the angle of the drivers side collector, it actually angles up towards the floor pan. I had a muffler shop re-fab the y-pipe and now the u-bolt on the collector is actually banging the floor.

EGR fittings for 2000 and below are in the way of the spark plug wires. Had to use zip tie to keep the wire off the egr tube.

ADVICE: Save up some money and buy some better headers.

New pacesetters have fixed these issues. No more grinding of K member either.

Hands down their Y pipe sucks. Get true duals. :D

True. The newer pacesetter's I had on my 02 Z fit great, I didnt have to do any grinding to the K-member. Plus I went with true duals so I didnt have to mess with a y-pipe.

Yup, just as they've said: the newer Pacesetters fixed the problems (well, not the Y-pipe). The Pacesetter longtubes I bought a year and a half ago were the new revised ones, so they fit great. I plan on buying another set for the new car here in the next 6 months.

I put my combo on like 2 years ago and didn't have to do any grinding, flanges or k-member. The y-pipe does suck, though...lol

Update:

Had a air tube blow out of the header and left a quarter size hole so the car was down, good news is Pacesetter has a warranty. I had them send me race headers as a replacement. With their warranty you have 2 choices. 1. Send your headers back and they will send replacements. 2. Give them a credit card # and they will send you a set and you have 30 days to send your old ones in before they charge you for a set. I chose option 2 and had no problems

As everyone said above, the new headers fit much better, no issues at all (once i removed the welding slag from the flange), i purchased a TSP catted y-pipe to replace the shitty pacesetter y-pipe, it fit much better but i still had to clearance the floor pan to prevent banging. These were doing just great until Hurricane Katrina came along.

These are a good bang for the buck header. I recommend buying the race headers and deleting your AIR and EGR if you have it. I am not the only person that had a tube blow out.

Good to hear that it all worked out for you with the warranty.

I put pacesetters on about 3 weeks ago. It does rattle a little past the drivers side header though.

i had coated pacesetter longtubes and ypipe installed last summer and they have fubbed against my floorboard quite a bit. also, hopefully im not hearing an exhaust leak, but have any of you noticed a little hissing sound after having headers installed? i bought Earl's copper gaskets and Breslin performance locking header bolts so i dont think thats a problem. my buddy has a 93 also that does it except his are the old pacesetters while mine are new.

I've got both and the only complaint was the ORY, but we welded in a bolt and nut on the y pipe and floor board so its held in place but still lets the y-pipe move as the engine torques
