I'm getting ready to install a B&M 24K supercooler and a TCI deep pan. Anyone have any recommendations for mounting the cooler, considering I already have SLP's high cap. radiator? Wasn't sure if that might cause space problems.

Here is a complete list of my perf. mods:

SLP SFCs, SLP STB, SLP reinforced Panhard Bar, SLP 85 mm MAF

installed at SLP's Toms River NJ site: 485 hp LS1 Cylinder Head & Cam (234/228) Package w/inst. kit including chrome molly pushrods 7.350" set of 16, double row nitrated timing chain, blueprinted oil pump LS1/LS6, off-road LT headers w/inst. kit, set of 2 high flow cats, LM exhaust mated to CME, K&N Air Filter, CAI, smooth bellows, moser 12-bolt 3.73 rear TCS & ABS 47 tooth w/inst. kit, torque converter 3300-3500, driveshaft loop, high capacity radiator, 160 deg. thermo. w/housing, painted reinforced LCA's, heavy duty adj. torque arm, dyno-based PCM4 tuning.

I drive an '02 Camaro SS.

TIA. :D

I'll see if I can get some pics and do a write-up showing how I mounted my cooler horizontally. It'll take until this weekend though.

Mount it "dope" style, that is when you are looking at the front of the car, standing in front of the nose of the car, it will be mounted to the left of the radiator, approximetly behind the passenger side turn signal lens. That is how I have mine mounted, with 2 small holes in the upper dam, so I could fit my trans hoses through them. the incoming air from the front dam, keeps the fluid in the cooler cool. You want to go into the radiator, out of the radiator into the cooler, out of the cooler back to the transmission. My trans temp does not go over 165 degrees using this routing, and that is with a TC change.

I mounted mine "dope" style also since my FTRA was in the way. Here's a link: http://fear.net/~dope/old_camaro/tranny_cooler

That's what I was looking for! I followed that idea very closely in the way I installed mine.

Pretty easy to do, works great!
