Does anyone know if there are any performance advantages/disadvantages between the two?

Every LT will produce around the same gain. The real choice is between fit and quality.

Yea, that's pretty much what I was thinking. I just wanted to check and see if one had ANY advantage over the other because that helps the decision. From what everyone has been saying, the Jet Hot is a really good header. And it costs a LOT less than the Kooks.

What are the typical gains from LT's? I'll be getting a set of QTP's very soon. Isn't it usually 20hp 20tq? Is this across the power band or peaks?

Well...it should be about the same...but every car is different..its hard to really tell.... they should all provide the same gains..

if you get stainless you basically wont have to worry about corrosion as much... and some of the stainless headers have options that give you a bit more power. e.g. the QTPs with high speed merge collectors..

But what if you go from the jethots 1 3/4 to the kooks 1 7/8 stepped to 2" will there be any gain

From what I've learned. The Kooks 1-7/8 stepped 2 is WAY over kill for a 346. Those are really made for stroker applications.

I would like to know how the 1-3/4 to 1-7/8 would perform with a supercharger compared to the 1-3/4 jet hots.

Jethots here and were well worth the money. Berfore LTs 329RWHP 329 TRQE after (untunned) 366RWHP 362 TRQE.

QTPs in my opinion is like the ultimate header out there....you can get a bit more power with their headers because of the high speed merge collectors..:)

Well I am going to go with a 408 was just wondering if I will see any gains over the jet-hots

KOOKs are making the most power
the QTPS are also a good header
after that Dynatechs are the next best for power
