Gentlemen,
Just wanted to post up this little tidbit out of appreciation.
I ordered 2 C5 storage consoles from PFYC over a month ago (1 for my father, 1 for myself). I never opened the box - my father's birthday wasn't until this week and my C5 was in storage anyway. Figures, this would be the one time there was an issue.
Turns out there's only 1 console in the box. What's even worse, is that the receipt says 2 of 2 on it. The box was big enough for 2 consoles and was still sealed when I got it, so I never suspected there would be a problem.
What's worse, is after contacting PFYC, it seems that it left their warehouse with 2 consoles in it (verified by inventory checks and UPS' weighing of the box - it had to have left with 2 in it). Which means that that's about a 99% chance it got stolen by someone at UPS. That would be fine and all but oops - this box was shipped over a month ago. Long outside of UPS' "claim" window.
So now I'm screwed. PFYC has no reason to believe me that I only received 1 console, and I have no way of remotely proving that it was stolen or anything like that.
Long story short, luckily I got in touch with a very friendly and helpful gentleman at PFYC (Brian Marks). He double-checked everything, and even when it all checked out on his end - he still ended up sending me another console at their cost, just to keep me happy. I did not ask for another console (or a refund, or anything).
Honestly I had chalked the whole thing up as a loss of $65 for my own stupidity in not checking the box when I got it. I am very appreciative that there is still good customer service out there :)
