I have 84,000 miles on the stock clutch and its starting to get a little soft. What will it take to put a LS6 clutch in my 99' T/A?

I would suggest getting the '01+ slave cylinder when you upgrade the clutch, regardless of which clutch you go with. The LS6 clucth was OK, but didnt hold up well to my 385rwhp, atleast not with the way I abused it

Don't get the LS6 clutch. It is only slightly better than the stocker you had in their. I would suggest a spec 3, you can PM "the chef" he will be a sponsor soon and he sells them That clutch will outhold the ls6 and still have a stock pedal feel.

That would be my recomendation. I've been running the spec stg 3 for a few months now and it grabs hard! but is very streetable IMO

if your gonna upgrade clutches, i would recommend getting a new master cylinder too.
