Well apperantly when it was wrecked it bent the fron subframe some. You can see where they pulled it and straightened it some. It is still off a little bit, needs to be pulled some more.

Well thats the bad news.

The good news is I dont have to do that.

I looked at the front sub frame on the 81 T/A I bought Sunday and it is good and straight, that car hasnt been wrecked in the front.

The sub frames are the same. So Im gonna pull it off strip it down and have it powder coated then totally rebuild the front suspension and brakes with all new parts. Then I will stick it on my 78 and all will be good.

Im also gonna take the disc brakes off the 81 T/A's 3:08 rear end and put them on that 3:42 rear end I pulled out of that 80 Z28 I stripped and put that set up under the 78 also.

I was looking tonight at the 81 and its stock tips are still good and not rusted and before it was set up it had new stainless turbo mufflers put on it. They still look new so Ill hack them off it and put them on my 78 along with the stock turn down tips. This car is turning out to be a good buy.

Im still playing with the idea of taking the t-top roof off the 81 T/A and putting it on my 78 T/A.

My friend Jim said we could do it and it wouldnt be hard. But Im still not sure if I wanta do that to this car or not.

Anyways, I figured Id share this with you. :bling:

 BLURR glad things are going good for you and I wouldnt change the car to t roofs and the disc idea is a good one.But I would leave it closer to stock myself, just make it faster and do some suspension mods.Keep us updated dude.:)
