I just read an article in autoweek that it is estimated that GM will build only
30,000-50,000 G8s. That doesn't seem like enough to turn around/be competitive
in the sport sedan segment, does it? How many grand prixs are sold each year?
Dodge Chargers?

Anyways, I'm afraid with such low production numbers, there will be dealer markups
on the V8 models.

I believe that is on par w/ how many Charger's are built. The Chrysler 300 is the real volume seller for DCX's RWD cars. The RWD Impala is projected to sell around 130k units.

30,000 - 50,000 is right about in line with what one of the LX platform cars..

I am sure they plan for the Chevy sister car to make/sell more
