Damn, nice color man.

I test drove a 2wd yesterday. I was literally amazed at the steering. Made me wonder how the AWD version drives. It didn't pull like the 5.0 but it's a half-ton heavier too.

BTW I'm surprised this forum is so dead. TBs are SUVs for people who still want to be able to park in a normal space and haul ass. Hopefully more folks will ante up.

Didn't pull like the 5.0??? It must be modded because I am running 13.36 against a 30mph wind in my TBSS. With a tune, e fans, servo.

Haven't dyno'd it yet or anything but SOP feels as strong as my WS6 was.....not as fast I am sure, given the extra tonnage, but feels mighty strong. :D

That MPH kills me though. I am sooooo used to my old WS6 trapping at nearly 100 MPH at that 1/4 mile time. Obviously a brick will trap slower, just gonna be hard to swallow for me. :\

I have run 13.362 @101.12 with e-fans, tune, servo. That was against 30mph head wind.

You need to go here.

A friend of mine recently purchased a TBSS same color too. What a great truck. The only thing that I am disapointed about these cars is that it doesn't come with a dual exhaust. We will soon be installing a true dual cat back system on it soon, probably a borla, or slp.

I hear ya........I was surprised/disappointed as well, but fortunately it wasn't a deal breaker for me........I am looking into header/exhaust combos and while duals would rock, I think the AWD (like mine) just are not capable of doing that........properly anyway. ;)

Stainless Works makes a nice system for the TBSS if you are looking to use headers. They make a catback system that is meant to be used with their headers.

I have seen that and a few others.......it is just a matter of saving up enough to buy them........and I thought 4th Gen F-Body parts were epensive. :nilly:

TBSS is great isn't it? I have just over 5K miles on mine.

Of course, mine is AWD and a bit heavier than the 2WD so the 1/4 may not be all that great but you know what, I've left a late 90's Z28 on the roads leaving work, ran away from him in twisties...I just nail it in turns and the front wheels pull it through with no oversteer, the Z28 had to slow down to make the turns...hehehe.

I'm loving mine, but it's still stock for now.

I'm loving mine, but it's still stock for now. Yeah, they rock!!!! I got mine the end of January this year and it has about 3200 miles on it.....still bone stock but I love it. AWD here too....sluggish off the line with that Torque Management, but I didn't buy her to drag race so I don't care. ;)

Some day I will mod her somewhat, but nothing drastic. :secret:

Though I would check the TBSS boards for a tune spcific to our trucks.....the Superchips (from what I have read) are "ok" but they don't compare to a tune made just for our babies. ;)

Just my $.02
