You know they wont... that's like one of the easiest things they could redesign to give the car it's own "unique image"... FWIW I agree with you though, the HSV wheels do look good. :cool:

Said it before... they need to literally just rebadge it and ship it over here (make the necessary changes to the bodywork so it will withstand our climate).. but keep the looks the same.

So a G8 'GT' will be unveiled...will have the HSV rims but will look near mirror image to SS-V. This will have the L76 6.0 if sources are correct...differences will be very minor and in some cases will be better than the SS-V. A GXP version will follow later with an LS3 motor.

ls3 should be anywhere form 425 to 450hp.

Instead, it's bringing back a 4-door relative based on the Holden Commodore SS, but rather than use the GTO badge, it calls this sedan the G8. The base model is equipped with a 261-bhp 3.6-liter V-6, which also boasts 250 lb ft of torque, which it delivers to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic with sequential shift mode. The big dog G8 GT is powered by a 362 bhp 6.0-liter V-8, which produces 391 lb ft of torque.
