newbie to FI....have some turbo questions

dont most turbo kits come with specialized headers/manifolds? anyway, how hard is it to fit all that pipe into our cars.....is it a bitch? i am seriously thinking about it in the future.....dont wanna deal with belts n shit that come with a s/c, plus i hear u lose less hp per gain with a turbo over a supercharger....i think the numbers i got from horsepower tv were: s/c -lose 30 for every 100 gained. t/c - lose 5-10 for every 100 gained. any suggestions on single kits for me? i am still not sure if im gonna leave my motor stock or not....but if i do decide to do a head/cam swap, i will make sure to lower my compression.....cuz i DO plan to t/c in the future. any ideas/opinions/suggestions on these matters?

well i think you need to really decided what your gonna do-if you plan on running a head & cam car thats fine--but most beefie cams out there arnt good for turbo cars-mighty mouse can lead more into that! there a post about it in here somewhere--

so think things out if you wanna turbo buy the parts that are gonna benfit the turbo-insted of wasting time changing cams later on-

as far as the install beinig a bitch that all depends on the person installling it---installing anything on a ls1 can be a bitch-kits are made to be installed smoothly-but there is allways sometype of fab work needed
