hey guys

I'm gunna start a ls1/t56 swap into my old parts getter here soon.

I have a ls1. I'm going through and putting in some coated diamond pistons, eagle h-beams, new bearings, rings, etc, in the bottom end.

I'ma gunna have thunder come up with me a good camshaft grind that willd work with some boost.

I have a set of stock heads that I may finish porting or I may just go with a set of darts.

I'm gunna put a small turbo on it too... something like a t66... maybe 10psi of boost or so. something I'll be safe with just a meth/alky injection with

Im doing this on somewhat of a budget. I got the engine for 400 bucks, the tranny and a spec stage 3 clutch for 400 bucks(the tranny needs a second gear synchro but I'll prolly replace the set) its only got about 3000 miles on the clutch.

I hope to finish the whole thing for less than 5K thats with tuning and the turbo too.

I havent exactly started the swap yet. I am just getting all the partys lined up. All I lack is the wiring harness, ecm, turbo, and the fuel system.

I've seen (internet) evidence of an ls1 in a '92 yota 2wd. I think the most "major" mod he had to do was a body lift to clear the drivetrain...
