Well I tried it out tonight.

Not much of a review, but a few words about it.. It has its advantages, but its not exactly all they advertise.. The pre-rinse doesnt have as much pressure as I would like.. The soap function is OK.. It doesnt put out as much soap as I expected, but from what I understand, the soap is concentrated, so a little goes along way.. It did a good job getting the dirt off.

So, the "self dry" feature. Thats an absolute lie.. There was no self dry what-so-ever.. When using the self dry, it filters the water.. The advantage was, when using the filtered water, it didnt leave any spots when I used my chamois and california blade (I think thats what its called).. The water came off without streaks, and whatever water was left, dried without any spots (except for a very few).

So, overall, it was OK.. For $19.99 it was worth it to not need a bucket and not have to worry about having the correct amount of soap.. As for the feature thats advertising, self drying, thats a flat out lie. You should see it try to sheet off, but then it would get to a point and just not sheet anymore..

Just thought you all would like to know.

I am waiting for my $5 dollar coupon and then I'm going to give this product a shot.

How long did you wait for the car to dry...maybe you didn't wait long enough?

Well, my thought was the water was supposed to sheet off, but I guess I misunderstood.. i guess it dries off without any spots..

For $20, I think its worth the filtration, even though the filters on it arent the greatest.. But some filtration is better that none.. and I like the fact that the soap and water are sprayed together..

Probably a good system if you live in an apartment complex. Wish I had it when I lived in Hawaii. The water there is super hard.

But now I have a house so all is well.

You thought wrong if you thought the water was going to magically all slide off when you rinsed it. I used it the other day and don't have a single complaint. I prewashed with Z7 though because I didn't wanna trust their soap on a completely dirty car.

Ditto ^^
I just want it for the filter. So far everything I have tried that said " NO SPOT DRYING " wasn't.

I bought it about a week ago, and finally had the weather and time to try it out. I was a little worried the soap wouldn't do a very good job but it did great except on the rims. Some of the bad spots of brake dust didn't come off with just the soap I had to use some simple green on them too.

As far as the self-drying goes, it worked great for me. I followed the instructions and waited about 30-45 mins. while I watched some TV and when I came out the car was totally dry with no spots. The rims took a little longer to dry and they dried with no spots either even though I used the simple green on them.

It was great not having a bucket and you can lay that soap on pretty thick if you have to. On the next go around I will probably soap and wash everything twice though.

Overall it was the greatest $20 I spent, and I definitely recommend it to anyone. Cut my washing time in half, I was practically finished waxing the car in the same amount of time I would have spent drying it.

Edit: I have chrome Z06 rims, so the spots on them would have been very noticable.

I finally used my AutoDry yesterday evening, and it worked great.

I was running late with the stuff I needed to do, and washing the car was the last thing before dinner - I ran out, used the AutoDry to wash and rinse, and then the light rinse, pulled it into the garage, and went in to eat.

When I came back during a commercial break an hour or 2 later, it was dry... No spots that I could see then, I'll take a closer look in just a bit, but I'm pretty damn happy with the results, hand drying with the absorber was often more work than the washing itself.
