Yokohama AVS ES100 275/40-ZR17
or
Nitto NT555 275/40-ZR17
I probably wont go to the track, but I do take off at stop lights and take corners pretty hard

Is your car a daily driver? I voted for Nitto. These tires have great traction and reliable handling.:)

i had nitto 555's on my previous set of 17's and now i got some es100's on my 18's and the yokohamas handle way better, traction is about the same
get the yokohamas:D

Yes my car is a daily driver.
I have heard great things about both tires and I have also heard bad things about both tires. Its raining here in So Cali and I will probably get some new tires middle of spring.

I know you don't have these listed but I highly recommend them: Firestone Firehawks SZ50EP.

I havnt heard anything about the "Firestone Firehawks SZ50EP". I only put the Yokohama and Nitto casue I have driven/riden in a car with those two tires and I like them both.

I have the Goodyear Eagle GS-D3's and they are great so far.

I would look into them because I have them and I have never heard of a complaint about them. Search other LS1 sites there is plenty info. out there about them.

How about Yokohama AVS ES100 up front and NITTO 555 in the rear?

You should also look into the Khumo Ecsta MX (sp?)

My AVS's tend to slide up front around corners... but I take them quite hard... other than that... I love them
