Starting last month I began colaborating and collecting all the info for this much needed swap. It's a rather basic swap.. Yet, it's starting to look a bit more complicated than i planned. (as most things do)
I'm currently awaiting the arrival of my new GMPP LS2 6.0L
(P/N 19156261) crate engine. I'd prefer to get my engine accessories used/salvaged. That includes... (Alternator, Brackets, A/C compressor, P/S pump + res, pulleys and belt tensioner.)

The biggest majority of problems come in the electrical/ECM area. (Not excluding the ETC and emissions compliance.)

So, far.. the SpearTech Harness/ECM with Electronic Throttle Control Assembly seems to fit my build needs. Yet, I've never used them before and haven't a clue on how well they hold up against emission laws in Tx and Ca.

My next choice would be the soon to be released for production, "PainlessWiring" PERFECT PowerCom System II LS2 w/ electric throttle Part#66205.(BTW,I called a friend that works there and he say's maybe 6 months at most for it's release and they're currently checking it on the dyno!) They always seem to have a good product and this one also seems to be a good choice.

As soon as I'm ready for mock-up of the engine and etc.. I will post pictures of each step with a through explanation with them...

Please post any info or questions you have with the SpearTech kits for the LS2 and emissions or know of a place for the accessories and brackets i'll be needing. Thx for the stopping by and i'll try to keep things up to date!

I do a lot of work with the guys at currentperformance.com since they are nearby. I know they are doing stuff for the LS2 engines, might give them a call. I know it's not REAL close to Atlanta, but they aren't too far either.
I have had to re-do stuff from S&P a couple of times. My opinion, they are way over-hyped.
