Hoping for a 12 second pass N/A...

With just the bolt ons that I have on the car:

SLP lowing springs (eiboch(sp?) springs)
'98 LS1 28.8lb injectors
Wabro HP HV 255 intank FP
Motive 3.73's
Stock cat-back with a flowmster muffler and a cut-out
Mezere HD EWP


My best run so far has been a 13.216 @ 103.97 on a 1.871 60'. That was my first run with the 3.73's. Just one week later pulled my bes 60', but te tranny went out on that run as well. So my best 60' so far is 1.762. Do you think I wll be ale to get the 12 second slip the way the car sits with a rebuilt tranny?


I know I will have a 2 second bolt on car onsidering that there is still a lot of stuff that I ca do. I want 12's on stock manifolds and Y-Pipe though. :)

How was the weather the night you went 13.2? I think it was pretty cold wasn't it? I remember I was there but I don't remember the night very well

I'm in the same boat as you, except I don't have many more bolt-on's I can do besides suspension stuff. I want 12's this winter, but we need more cold weather

I wanted 12's so bad too, I went last wednesday, and it was 48 on my final run. This is all my car has in it, unless I do some weight reduction or get dr's, but I'm selling it so its worthless to try.

Don't feel bad, RallyRed(Chris)'s best trap is 105.4, but his best ET is 13.36 which was before the cutout

Yeah, it was pretty nice out, but it was also the first run of the night, mine and the tracks. :)

I would say with good run you should be able to crack 12's. I will be putting in 3.73's this summer and more suspension and I will be upset if I don't hit 12's. I hit 13.54 with stock suspension and before the exhaust work with 3.23's. My 60' was 2.1:mad:

i dont see u running 12's honestly, u had a pretty good 60 ft. time and a decent trap, so i dont see u dropping .2 on ur e.t.

Get that 60ft down to a 1.73 range and I think its very possible.

Oh yeah, and if I have to I will take my N20 plugs out, NGK TR6's, and put in some NGK TR55's. ;)
