What I did this afternoon...

I prewashed the car with the Z7 carwash because I wasn't ready to totally trust the Mr Clean soap.

Rinsed car off completely.

Sprayed the car down with the Mr. Clean soap and rewashed the car.

Rinsed car off completely.

Set the thing to the filtered misting water and misted the car down with it.

Sat on my ass for a good while and then went out and checked on the car. The car dried with NO SPOTS!!! This thing has passed the ultimate test which is a black car. This is the best 19$ I've ever spent on car washing stuff.

Damn, I've been hearing so many good things about this product...I might have to check it out.

I was hoping somebody would do a test on that. That is cool that it really does work. I will also get one. I hate drying the car. Anyhting that reduces paint swirl, I am all for.

Thanks for posting that, I had seen it but was skeptical (especially with me also having a black car). I'm gonna give it a try now.

It is a very cool product. I'm gonna go outside here in a little bit and check under the spoiler and see if even that dried spot free. That would be very cool if it did :D

Btw...how long do you think the filter and soap that comes with the kit will last? Also, how much do refills cost?

You can't lose with it. Even if it doesn't work for you, you have a year to tell them you didn't like it and get a full refund

Sweet!

I've got 2 $5 coupons on the way for it, after my discount I'll get one for like 12 bucks

You just convinced me to buy it. I was wondering about this stuff because I have a black car too. The refund just seals the deal.

The book said the soap will only last 3 washes in the starter kit, same with the filter.

The bigger sized soap bottles and filter refills are only 5$

I figured if I'd spend 20$ on a damned white towel, then why not spend it on this? :drive:

I don't have a dark colored car, so water spots were never really a problem...but it's worth a shot. :D

What kind of results would you get if you did not use the Mr. Clean soap at all and just used the Z-7. I always Z-6 my car and truck after each wash so the unit is not worth it to me as I like to dry the car myself and get on with Z-6ing, I do not want to wait around for the water to dry on its on.

The soap in the kit is one of the key ways it dries. If you don't want to wait for it to dry then i wouldn't even consider it. I bought it because I hate drying.

I would assume the soap has some sort of dry rinse agent similar to what is found in spot free additives you put in the dish washer, this is what I would not want on my paint but the final spot free rinse would be OK. I don't mind drying, I use an electric leaf blower many times anyway.

no pics of the car cleaned up. I could take some here in a bit but she's pretty dusty from going to and from dallas this weekend

I'm gonna buy it. It's worth a shot. I'm old school on washing cars. So I'll see what happens.

I am afraid of it screwing up my next coat of Zaino

I put on 2 coats of klasse cleaner, and 2 coats of klasse glaze on my car right after it was dry. The car looked amazing. It won't mess up your Zaino.

I am afraid the Zaino will not adhere properly if it leaves a residue

ah! this stuff DOES work wonders and im on my 4th day with my car looking virtually dust free... EXCEPT!

this stuff does cling dust to your car if you lean on your car. I don't know why but lets say you just got your shirt out of the dryer and leaned against your car to ratchet on the engine. Look at the fender it has dust stuff all over it. Nothing a little wipe with a lint free rag wont fix just have to say that's the only negative thing i've picked up on it... also it did leave water spots on my windshield but maybe thats because I have hard water. Who knows.

I've heard people saying that it strips wax, especially zaino.

Any validity to this?

Since people Zaino their cars fifty times a week, it really doesn't matter.

I'm definitely giving this product a shot.

I'm glad that its working for people.

However, I think I'm going to wait a little bit until I jump on the bandwagon. I'm a Zaino guy(may switch to Tropi-care, waiting for results), so I'll wait 'til a few Zaino/Tropi-care guys ensure it'll work. Don't wanna fuck up my $4k worth of paint and body work :(
