what do u need in parts other than the conversion kit to make my lt1 to an lt4 in my 94 camaro z28 cause i hear i need to change a few things to make the kit work in a 94 please help

The LT4 knock module is different, and I'm not sure that it's a bolt-in for the 94-96 PCM. Not sure beyond that.

the conversion replaces the whole top end is it in the top end what is it

it's located in the PCM.

the gm performance site says i need a new ignition system for my lt4 conversion and also a few things for the changing over to the heavy duty timimng chain what parts do i need any help would be gret thanks

head assemblies, intake, cam, roller rockers, gaskets, knock module, ...

If you want to go all the way then you need a throttle body, plug wires, timing cover, new opti spark, timing set. Not to mention the plastic valve covers and I'm pretty sure the injectors were also bigger.

You can get away with swapping out the heads, intake and camshaft though and reusing all the other stuff. I think the cam dowel is slightly shorter as well, you might have to file or cut it somewhat. It's been awhile:)

Or you can have your heads and intake ported and get your intake powder coated and noone will know the difference, other than the EGR valve.
