yeah its required :( Im moving to AZ though so and I dont think they require it. I have a SS Grill in the garage but I get a freakin ticket if I dont have the front plate mounted. :(

ya i've been down that path before ... i used to have G2's on my car ... i thought it was too low so i went back to stock springs when i put new shocks on .... about 3 months later i put a prokit on the car .. and now i'm lower than before i started:cool: I couldn't stand the 4x4 look. You've got hals tho ... so u wouldn't have to go to the extreme i did;)






On a side note .... anyone notice how much the 'black camaro club' is kickin every other color club's asses in terms of our pics and post count:D

You need the SLP SS front plate bracket setup. I've got it on my 2000 SS. It's mounted on the nose from underneith and you can see the SS logo just fine !! Look it up !!

i agree, thats the only bracket ive used since on the car. its been off since the grille but looks like ill be putting it on again, just got another plate warning.

Black 1996 Z-28, 6spd with Pro 5.0 and Lou's Short Stick and MBA knob, K&N cold air, 52MM polished TB, Granatelli Mass Air Flow sensor with polished ends. Crane valve springs, Comp hardened push rods w/guide plates, Comp Pro Magnum roller rockers. Hooker ceramic coated long tubes with mufflex Y pipe, SLP Dual/Dual Cat back with Moroso Spiral Flow bullet in Intermediate Pipe. MSD 6A, MSD coil, MSD plug wires, NGK TR55 plugs. March underdrive pulleys. Auto meter electric Fuel pressure gauge in pod and Scanmaster. Granatelli 255lph in tank pump. Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator. 6AN braided fuel lines rerouted from factory location. DMS drop springs, BMR control arms, adj. panhard rod. Spohn weld-on lower control arm relocating brackets. Enkei Win wheels with 275/40/17's in front and 315/35/17's in back. Polished aluminum radiator cover, polished aluminum valve covers, polished aluminum Vortech elbow, chrome alternator, ceramic coated intake, ceramic coated water pump housing with Mezeire Electric water pump, ceramic coated accessories bracket. 300RWHP and 314RWTQ


IN THE WORKS:

I have a stock bare block that I am getting parts together to have a forced induction engine built. Below is a list of what I have so far.

-Bare LT1 block
-Cola 4340 forged steel 1 piece rear seal crankshaft with a 3.50 inch stroke
-Manley 4340 forged 5.7 inch H beam rods
-Diamond Racing forged aluminum D shaped blower piston with -22cc dish
-A pair of bare AFR 210CC LT4 cylinder heads with 2.08 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves

I am wanting to use a F1 Procharger to run about 18 pounds of intercooled boost with a goal of 650 RWHP.

2002 M6

apparently a large portion of black SS's came with ZR1s...and the CME seems to not be as rare as I thought.

Only mod so far is the SLP grille

SFCs are in the mail, a strut tower brace is next.

After that I'm thinking panhard rod and LCAs to settle the rear.

Some halos would be cool, as would some window tint.

I need more money. :(
