ECKLERS FRC Compartment divider that turns the back into a trunk...It looks pretty nice with corvette on it in red lettering but the description seems to suggest that it is only carpeted on one side????

I have a 01 Z06 and would like to purchase one of these...Im just wondering why some cost 350+ and ecklers is 100??

Im new to vettes so Im not sure what the best place is for parts and info....

I don't own a corvette yet, but here is a review off of the corvetteforum

I wasn't sure if I wanted one or not and was skeptical on how much noise they would supress. So, I went the cheap route and purchased the one from Ecklers for $100.
To my surprise, engine and road noise are MUCH quieter now. It's a different car. I can still hear the nice growl of the exhaust but it's no longer annoying. Road noise is also significantly reduced. I highly recommend a partition.

The $300 partitions made from covered wood from various vendors probably look a little better. I was prepared for a low-quality partition for $99 but was pleasantly surprised by how nice the Ecklers partition looks from the inside of the car. The trunk-side doesn't look so hot but I don't really care.

I'm not sure if the wood partitions surpress road and exhaust noice as well as the Ecklers foam one does. My initial thought was that wood would vibrate and translate some of the noise, whereas foam would do a better job of absorbing the noise. Only someone who's had both would know for sure.
