I'm tired of having bottle openers that open once then don't work for a while.
It's common knowledge that there are voltage booster systems out for fuel pumps. Would it be possible to set up some kind of mini-transformer to up the voltage to the solenoid? Granted it might pull a little more current, but that's a risk I'd be willing to take.

I would just get rid of the solenoid style opener and get a different one. I have heard people having great luck with NX style openers that actually open the valve instead of being installed inline.

I've heard good and bad about both, a little less about the NX kit, but still quite a few that just don't work that well. I'm just thinking if it could be done.

I have decided the best opener is my hand. Works all the time. :)

I'm very happy with my NX, the only problems I heard of with the NX was from people that didn't adjusted the clutch right.

I am not a big fan of the bottle openers on the market. of the ones available i think the NX is the best. I too opt for the best opener, my hand. ;)

If it were up to me, I'd never close it, but I also don't drive around all day with the line unhooked either. And most of the time, if you're pulling up against someone, it doesn't seem very cool to have to ask them to hold on while you go open the bottle  Just looking for the best of both worlds. I already have the NOS opener, and it opens, but after a run, it won't close...

Big vote for the NX bottle opener. Kind of a pain to take off/put on when you fill the bottle, but otherwise a great product.

btw, gone through 2 NOS remote openers... those are no good.
Then, decided to go with leaving it open pretty much all the time.
Now I got the one mentionned above.
