steering wheel column help

the switch on my steering wheel column that shuts on/off my brights is broken. what am i looking for when i crack this thing open. any help would be great. thanks. -mike

Inside the column, the lever just moves parts that push a rod. The rod actuates a switch on the side of the column. Make sure the rod is inside the correct spot on the switch for starters.

thanks for the response. i ended up just buying a little swithch from autozone and bypassing the control to a little switch underneath my guages. it actually worked alot easier than taking everything apart. again thanks. -mike
