454 build

I know not many people have 454's on this forum or any of the other ones Im on, lt1tech and ls1tech. But Im going to be putting a 454 into a '82 z28 with a turbo 350 and 12 bolt rear end pretty soon and Im probably going to need some technical help since I haven't been workig on a v8 for a while and this would be only my second GM car. So far I've worked mainly on Fords and hondas. Also i've never had a big block before so that should be fun. The 454 isn't built at all yet, just bored 30 over with slightly over sized pistons and nice new cylinder heads with 5 angle valve jobs. But its basically a stock rebuild and probably a 460cui now. Im going to want to bore it out to more than 500cui later on but not any time soon.

Now that you know what Im doing can anyone tell me if this forum is good for '80's cars and big blocks? If not does anyone know any good sites that deal with those cars and engines?

I see you investing alot in subframe connectors,, more so in them than on the motor itself... lol The turdgen has a real weak body for a motor tha big your also gonna become real handy with putting a reciprocating saw to your wheel wells.. lol
