Hi all. Just thought I'd start my first post in the conversion section detailing who I am and what I'm doing. (Hopefully this will help me stay on track) If you look at my sig, I'm obviously doing an LS2 swap in my 1992 Sonoma GT. For those of you who don't know what a S-GT is it was a 1 year production vehicle with only 806 made. (Much fewer are still around today) My origional plans were to build a turbocharger 4.3 but since GM since discontinued the 4.3, performance part prices have skyrocketed. (i.e 3K+ for a billet stroker crank) So I've dumped that project and fixiated myself on a supercharged stroker ls2 instead.
I'll try to expand on my project in the morning and include pics. Right now, it's not a terribly pretty truck as the paint's faded and they old man we bought it from was in the process of putting a new clearcoat on it. It has a dented tailgate/rear bumper cover from some blonde chick rearending me in a parking lot, but other than that it runs fine.
