Interesting read about the new Duramax LLY

In Dec, the tried and true 6.6 L Duramax Turbo Diesel was upgraded from the LB7 config to the LLY config:

They also relocated the injectors to cut down on labor costs. They are now mounted externally. Now if you have to have injectors changed, it's a 45 minute job instead of an 8-10 hour job.
