Tire Width ? (C4)

wanting to know if an 17x11 inch ZR1 rim would fit under the back of an '85 Corvette Z51, i'd like to put a 315 tire on it.
will it fit?

You know, the 1996 Grand Sport had on the coupes a 315/35ZR17 tyre mounted to a 17 x 11 wheel but they had added on fender flares. It will be pushing the limit.
