How to remove front license plate bracket on 98+ Camaro?

One of my friends just did that last night and said that there are some kind of little friction fit screw clips behind the front grill. I think he said he had to drill them out.

no you dont if you are talking about the license plate holder remover your license plate and there will be 2 screws in the middle part of the holder remove those and the holder will come loose

What you do is get a drill bit and drill the middle of the rivot....and it will fall off

I had to drill the hell out of my plastic grill to make it come off... I wasnt about to take off the whole front of the car... can you say G-H-E-E-E-E-T-T-T-T-O-O-O-O

if it's just the bracket, do what they said. if you're trying to get off the whole thing like t1blackout2 did, then just pull hard.
