Sound pretty damn good.. I must say I am very pleased with it.. quiet a bit louder than i expected but no rasp at all, and it pops a little when i am down shifting but not bad at all.. anyways instead of doing a y-pipe like I asked he did a T pipe.. my question is would this be pretty restrictive? I mean would I loose RWHP? I'm kinda upset that he did that vs. the y-pipe so I dunno. :dunno:

Also never heard of a t-pipe, but no matter what, I'd take it back and have them do it how you asked. :yup:

A T-pipe??? You mean it's exactly like it sounds, the two pipes from each manifold meet at a T and split off into one pipe at a 90 degree angle? Hell yeah, there's something wrong with that. Take it back, and tell them what stupid mf'ers they are.

I mean exactly what it sounds like.. T pipe 90 degree angels

I'm sure the T-pipe he's talking about is after the axle. Think of the T-pipe as half a H-pipe, or one side of the H-pipe. If that is what you mean, then your exhaust guy just took a short cut, rather than making a y-pipe from scratch. Either way, you retained the dual tailpipe outlets. If your dynomouth is setup that way, I seriously doubt you'd lose any horsepower. Most of your exhaust will simply exit out the driver side tailpipe, which is the more direct way out (rather than having to make a complete 90 degree turn to exit out the passenger side tailpipe). At least I hope that's how it's setup. Otherwise, you have some serious problems. :)

Throw a electric cut-out in there and never worry about this again. ;)

post a pic- the T might not flow to bad if it was put sideways

Thats kinda what its like, but vs. the t-pipe being towards on side or the other, the t-pipe is right in the middle where the muffler should be.. So its an equal distance from either side of my tips.. it comes over the axel, curls back under then goes into a t-pipe then can exit either way to the drivers side tips, or the passenger side tips. Mine main concearn was if i would loose any hp. :dunno:

Its not side ways.. it flows straight into the t-pipe... the t-pipe is where you would put a muffler. Its right in the center and has the same amouth of distance between both sides of the tips.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Your exhaust will simply exit through the most direct path (which should be the driver side tips from how you've described it). Just think of your passenger side tips as dummy tips, just for looks. Besides, you can always change your setup anytime you wanted. IMO, I'd focus more on other mods for the time being. :D
