Back in March I purchased a used set of Z06 wheels with tires from him, being told that the rear tires still had good life remaining, and that the wheels were straight and had no warps. They did have some scuffing but I was aware of that and hence the good price.
Upon receiving them, I found the rear tires to be completely bald and had to be replaced right away before installing on the car - which cost me over $1000 CDN - an unexpected BIG expense.
Then once I finally take my car out of storage after the snow is gone, I install the wheels only to find one of the rear wheels is warped and causing the car to shake at highway speeds.
I contacted a wheel repair place and was given an estimate of $150 CDN to repair the wheel. I then contacted lucky_topher to ask him to either cover the cost of repair (since he said the wheels were straight but one wasn't) or refund my money completely and I would return the wheels to him. He was uncooperative for either method and is now not returning any e-mails or messages.
I have filed a complaint with PayPal on this issue, and will go from there. I would be happy with the cost of repair on the wheel, even after having to fork out another $1000 on new tires.
