Just went to the track on saturday... I couldn't seem to pull better than a 2.4 sixty foot no matter what tire pressure I tried. In fact the highest tire pressure of 30 PSI was my best run... all launches where at 3000 RPM... I think I really need to learn to launch... the MPH was low probably because of the high humidity that day... I was running consistently 2-3 MPH higher last time...

I ran 11 times, from 16.0-16.7, lost 2/11 times... one dodge something V8 and a DSM... I beat an Integra 4 times, a Celica 3 times, and an olds 4 cyl something 2 times

My first and best run was:
16.041 @ 87.62 MPH

I was trapping 89.8 last time I went there... 3000 RPM I believe would be ideal... I just need to feather the clutch more (it was bogging to 2000 and spinning this time) and not jump on it like a little highschool boy after prom... I am happy that I figured out the tire pressure to use at least... hopefully next time it will be a nice sunny and dry day...

I did manage a .7 R/t at least...

LOL I wouldn't worry, I saw a 2.8L Firebird running high 17's... just remember... there have been smaller engines in F-bodies.

w/ SLP CAI, flowmaster 3" catback, short throw shifter, SFC's STB, LSD, carsound hi-flow cat... i can do better, was at full weight and had 3/4 tank of gas, and daily driving tire pressure

Getting good times in full street trim is what impresses me the most. If you were on street tires, the pressure wouldn't have made much difference anyway.

what was your 60', 1/8th, etc? Seems kinda "too good" for what you have :)

thats not very nice, i'm an extremely good driver... as for the other stuff, this was a while ago, and i'm not all that big in the whole drag racing stuff, so i dont have any slips anymore... maybe i'll go the track again soon, get some new numbers...

oh yeah, i also have harlen's shiftlight, so my shifts are mint :)
