By Big Blue, I'm assuming you went with the Arrival Blue Metatalic. Good choice on the color. I went with the same. :D

Congrats McRat, I'm sure you'll love that new power jump the Duramax has:D . I almost stroked out at the price of diesel at the pump the other day-the Shell was charging $2.05, so I headed down to Chevron, they had #2 for $1.99:mad:

A buddy of mine from reserves bought one of those a few months back. I haven't ridden in it, but it sure doesn't sound like a diesel from the outside. :hitit:
Amazing motor! Nice truck, Pat..

If this is your first Duramax you'll love it! :D we have one and wouldn't have anything else! Is that the new LLY Duramax w/ 590 lbs. of torque? That truck is freakin LONG, that SRW 1 Ton should be nice. CONGRATES

Yep, Yep, and Yep.
The tires are 265/75-16's but the size of the truck makes them look tiny. I'll have to start shopping.
The "Electron Blue/Marine Blue" is a sweet color so we now have matching vehicles. Hence the "Big Blue" name. But I can't call the vette "Little Blue", it just wouldn't be right. ;)
The LLY is rated at 310HP/590TQ, but I haven't dyno'd it yet.
It "de-fuels" first and fifth gear to save the trans from the added torque back down to the LB7's 520ftlbs. But from 20-60mph it really moves for a big truck.

Now we are talkin'... I was thinking at least 305 /75/16... I guess there are weight and strength ratings for that size beast, but with some more meats you can't go wrong... think more bite and stronger pulls :drive:

damn.. that looks good!
Nice Ride:D
You're gonna be limited on the size of tire, I put the 285/75/16s on mine with new 16x8 American Racing Atlas wheels and had to crank the torsion bars and trim the front valance to stop the rubbing while turning.
