I am going to go ahead and start buying my fuel system and I don't really know exactly what I need. I will be running a D-1SC 8psi Tuner kit with full exhaust and a cam. Do I need 50lbs injectors or is 42lbs ok? Also what about the fuel pump?

I would say 42s would be OK to mid 500rwhp, if not to 600rwhp...but I may be wrong.
I'm sure others who know more can chime in....

Oh, And where is a good dyno tuner? I live in Oklahoma and I hear some good things about Ed Wright but I have heard some horror stories about his tuning. Texas is about as far as I wanna go for tuning.

I am a firm believer in Eds work....expecially if u can take it to him and let him dyno tune your car! IMO, any FI car should dyno tune.

Any FI car NEEDS dyno tuning. You really have to get it onto a wideband on the dyno to make sure everything remains stable.

Yes, Ed Wright is a great choice. Ed has a lot of experience with tuning, and you are lucky to have him in your state. We now do our own LS1 tuning, as sending computers back and forth ties up the customer's cars for quite a while, but we still use Ed Wright for LT1's and other GM vehicles. If you call and ask ATI ProCharger who they would recommend, they would direct you to ED Wright. Bob :)

Wow? 42lbs to 600RWHP?? I don't think so..
I had 48#/hrs that couldn't cut the mustard past 580RWHP..
I'm only pushing 10psi, and a single intank + external wasn't enough fuel; had to go with a dual intank setup....
2X GSS340's are enough pump..
I'm going with 72#/hr injectors to be safe..
Hoping for 650 to the tire.. we'll see.

a single walbro gss340 in tank and svo 42#'s are all you will need for 8psi on a stock motor.

good to hear :D
that's my setup for a forged 347, bigger heads/cam, but the intank and 42 svo's seem to flow more than enough so far..

Keyword- stock motor. Your motor isn't stock, 8psi on an H/C motor is typically about 10+ psi on a stock motor..
You may need a bit more than that fuelwise.
I'm pushing 10psi on a H/C motor, and needing 2 intanks, and 48#'ers weren't enough, but also breaking the 600 to the tire mark..
