I lowered my C5 as much as I could stock. It's not low enough for my taste. What do I need to buy to go lower. Is it even recommended?

Thanks!
Alex

Alex You can get a lowering kit from many of our site vendors that basically deletes the rubber bushings, or you can cut or remove the stock bushings yourself and save yourself a few bucks.

How much lower than stock were you able to get it the way it is now?

When I do get a C5, that's probably all I will lower it anyhow, since it'll be my daily driver.

So it's nice to know I can get that much of a drop without spending any $$$ :)

I hope I have better luck. But then again, I'd be happy with a stock ride height C5, I'd still be doing the silly dance everytime I saw the car :fluffy: :fluffy: :fluffy: :lolbash:

I don't mind the ride height on my car. The roads in Louisiana are aweful, so a little extra clearance is a good thing.

Same here. Living in the mountains of NE PA, we have a combination of lots of steep grades coupled with bad roads because of the severe winters. That's not a good environment for lowering a car that already has minimal ground clearance. :umm:

I live in Arlington which is right outside Dallas. As long as I stay out of the city the roads are great. Downtown Dallas is horrible though!
