This place is kinda dead so.
How many miles a year do you put on your classic and how many shows and races do you atend
In 4 months i do about 15 races and a car show about 5 times a week. Puting about 4,000 miles in that time. sorry i trailer it to the track(set on kill mods in sig) i break stuff. The cars in Mass. so 4-5 months is about it.

Probably around 2,000 miles a year. Hot August Nights in "reno" every year. Good Guy's once a year. Haven't been to the track in years. :(

So far my Chevelle has a whopping 150 miles on it in about 6 weeks. That works out to about 1,300 per year.
And I will race mine, just not yet.

And I will race mine, just not yet. How many Chevelles were made that year, they only made 1,339 70 T/As with only 225 with a/c.
I got the #s on how many 67 Chevelles SS were made 63,006 only less than 12,772 verts were made. 1970 T/A production was 1,339 auto and 1,769 sticks for a total of 3008 made.So they made 20X more of those than T/A,now which ones are more rare? Thats why I dont race mine. :)

Yeah, yours is pretty rare, and I never disputed the rarity issue. Why not find and race a car whose production numbers are high, and therefore more plentiful?
I'm hesitant to race mine only because I have a few dollars in it, and dollars don't come my way easily :)

Shoot, I put barely 3000 a year on the Velle. I attend a few shows, but mostly town driving, hitting up the local cruise spots to terrorize the ricers :D
I am comutting with it this week (270 miles) and gas at $2.25 a gallon, its getting expensive. If I had to drive this the whole month, fuel alone would cost me over $240 and I only work 4 days a week :( Eh, more fun to drive than any newer car (exceptions there are) and I own it outright so no payments of any kind.

SS, not sure. I do have a friend with a 67 white blown big block Chevelle in the Santa Cruz area that has mentioned this as well, I will talk to him about it again. When is this being held?

Fathers Day Weekend. June 18-20. I'm trailering the 67 Chevelle up there, and will be in space 107.
