probably 20. I did most of it by myself, and aside from my headers..haven't done any engine work before.

If i had to do it again, and had all of the necessary parts (which was also a problem for me) i could prolly do it in 15 hours or so.

Ok, 'nuff of this secrecy! What's the numbers? It doesn't take that long to mess around on a dyno! :p

How'd it do? :D

actually it does :(

The place where I'm having the tuning done is busy as hell for an upcoming cruise/show...trying to get all sorts of cars ready. I have to wait until next wednesday to get some tuning done :(

Congrats!! Now you will need traction to harness all that power. I think ATI should include drag radials with their kit because without them forget bringing it to redline in the first two gears. :drive:

yeah i know! should say "slicks/12bolt required" :D

What mods do you have to your car other than the procharger? i see you put down 480

S2 TB although I don't think that helps with FI cars. SLP 1:85 ratio rockerarms, springs and titanium retainers. 8.5lb pulley but I'm only reading about 6.5psi. Moser 12 bolt w/3.73's. SLP level one suspension. No headers

Tires are next!:)

cool, i've seen a few procharged cars putting down 470-490 with headers/ory/catback. Hopefully thats where i'll be.

First of all, can the stock bottom end REALLY take close to 500 rwhp??????????????

Also, that little flap under the car. Cant you put the covers back on where the intercoolers are, and put that little black flap straight across again???????

sure it can...it becomes a problem when you up the boost. Also, tuning is extemely important...but with as little boost as i'm running, and conservatively tuned...it'll be fine.

I've actually seen some guys running 10-13psi (with alky at 13) on a stock bottom end...but they are also prepared to drop a forged motor in their car when it blows up :D

and no..you can't put the splash gaurds back on after the install...that would kind of defeat the purpose of the intercoolers ;)

I don't think he's talking about the splash guard, he's referring to the air dam/deflector.
And it'd be a good idea to cut it per ATI's instructions and re-install it..

I'm not seeing it installed on your car. It's there to get air to the radiator... a good thing.

I am sure he wasn't finish with the install. You have to cut off the ends to make it fit.

look closer ;)

it's in there, you can see it right behind the tubing, although it is a bit tough to see from that picture...

Can't see it. Expecting a setup like mine where it hides the tubing..
Of course, doesn't help that I'm half blind.
Good luck with it, I'm supposed to get mine back tomorrow (Tuesday)..
